“My daughter went to the Hopes & Dreams Preschool at Ashley Hill a couple of years ago before starting at Ashley Hill. She met her best friend at the preschool and we got to get to know the other parents, which was great preparation for her and she has made a great start to school life.

My son will also be starting in Reception at Ashley Hill School so I had no hesitation in sending him to the Hopes & Dreams Preschool at Ashley Hill, particularly as he can go for free every day during his Preschool year when the school is open. It’s such a lovely small nursery and I can’t wait for him to start. I know he’ll be making friends with the other children who will start school at the same time making the move to big school much less daunting.

Once my son starts school I’ll be considering using the Buzz After School Club, which is run by the same staff who run the preschool. It’s a great option for working parents who don’t work just during school hours.”

“Hopes & Dreams coming to Ballasalla is one of the best things to happen! The nursery has been transformed into a wonderfully inviting place for children to learn. There’s always so much going both indoors and outdoors, with the added benefit of access to the School grounds during school holidays. The children are happy and get lots of attention from the wonderful staff, who are ace at engaging children in play and supporting them to make friends.

My son absolutely loves going. He spends more of his time there than at home. So when your child is excited to go to nursery it makes life so much easier. It is his second home.

All staff are very welcoming kind, friendly and warm. If you have a question or need advice they do everything they can to help.

For me personally all I want is for my child to be happy and feel safe. He absolutely 100% does at H&Ds Ballasalla. I’m truly pleased that he will have got to spend his 2 years before he starts school there. The nursery is wonderful preparation for starting school and so much more.

“We couldn’t find a more perfect setting for a nursery. Mooragh Park is a stunning location providing ideal access to outdoor play and easy access to the beach. The nursery rooms are filled with light from the walls of windows that look out across the park and the lake, and the children get to access the outside areas freely throughout the day. The covered veranda means that rain does not stop play which is a real bonus.

The team at Hopes & Dreams recognise the huge advantage that they have over most other nurseries and make sure the children get out into the park as often as they can.

Having said that they do a great job in the nursery too. The rooms are calm and inviting. The staff always have a smile and warm welcome at drop-off and take the time to let us know about our children’s day when we collect them. Our daughters love the snacks and hot lunches, which sound so appetising and healthy.

We’re very happy with our choice of Hopes & Dreams for our daughters.”

“Hopes & Dreams at Rushen is a hidden gem. Having access to this standard of childcare on our doorstep is wonderful. It’s also great value and much more convenient than taking my child into Douglas to make sure they don’t miss out.

The nursery is a wonderfully nurturing environment with such warm caring staff who engage the children in all manner of inspiring play opportunities. We love that the children are encouraged to play outside or are taken on trips and outings in the fresh air.

It’s brilliant to know that our child is happy and learning while they are at nursery. We get lots of feedback on what they’ve been up to at nursery but even without that we would know from the smile on his face and how much he has come on since starting at Rushen.

We are looking forward to his transition to school next year knowing that he has had a great foundation at Hopes & Dreams.”

“My neighbour recommended Hopes & Dreams so I got in touch. I looked around the newer setting they’ve established at Tennis Road and chose to send my two children as the term time only school day hours really suit our family routine. With one child in their preschool year, I don’t pay for their sessions, only paying for my 2-year-old.

Both the children love the nursery. The nursery only takes a small number of children and they get to enjoy a really large space, fully kitted out with amazing play opportunities. There are plenty of staff to offer support and make sure the children are happy and enjoying their play. And they get out most days to the local park to play and explore in the fresh air!

The children are settled and happy and I can’t fault the value.”

“We’re delighted that we found this nursery and were able to secure places for our son in Preschool and our daughter in the separate 2’s and 3’s room. Our children attended another nursery because they looked after babies but we wanted to move them when our son was ready for preschool and our daughter turned 2 as Hopes & Dreams had been highly recommended by friends of ours. We’re so glad that we did and have been pleasantly surprised by our experiences.

We’ve found the staff wonderful from day one! Nothing is too much trouble. They are so calm and helpful. The nursery is so different than his previous one because they follow the Curiosity Approach. We think it’s brilliant. It makes perfect sense and our children are both really happy playing and making new friends.

It was also important that the nursery is really convenient being on our way to work, and yet still benefits from having parking, a really surprising outdoor area and plenty of space for all of the children to play. On top of this they regularly take the children out for visits and outings in their own minibuses.

We would highly recommend the Woodbourne Road nursery based on our experiences.”
